Birth: Apr. 21, 1984 Death: Nov. 22, 2010 Kandahar, Afghanistan Cpl. William K. Middleton, 26, of Norfolk, Va., died Nov. 22 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky. He is survived by his father, Hank Middleton and wife Diane; his mother Marlene Blackburn; brother, Zach Middleton; grandparents, Jeanie Middleton, and Nancy Wilkes; Donna Tomich and husband, Walter, and Mike Wozniak; an aunt, Karla; uncles, Mark and wife, Nancy, Forrest and wife, Robin, Larry and wife, Theresa; cousins, Heather and Tony, Leslie and A.J., Casey and Lesley, Tafral, Stasil, Mitchell, Luke, Patrick, Zeke, Brooke, Hunter, and Ben.
