- My husband ,Paul served 20 plus years in the Navy . He was set to retire on 3/31/2013 . On 1/13/2013 ,he was diagnosed with duedonal adenocarcinoma. He fought like a true warrior for 7 months . When he went to Heaven our whole world crumbled. Everyday is harder than the last for me. I miss him so much . He gave my mother a kidney 10 years ago and she is still going strong. He is our Hero !!!
