Birth: Mar. 30, 1984 Virginia Beach Virginia Beach City Virginia, USA Death: Sep. 8, 2009 Konar, Afghanistan Marine 1st Lt Johnson was assigned to 7th Communications Battalion, 3rd Marine Headquarters Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Okinawa, Japan. He was ordered to take his team to a small village of Ganjgal where the leader had requested their presence. This appears to have been a set up, as the insurgents ambushed them with overwhelming odds. Johnson was wounded and was being attended by a naval medical corpsman when they were both killed.
