- Birth: Jan. 4, 1971 Death: Feb. 3, 2010, Pakistan Staff Sgt, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia died in defense of America in Pakistan. Born at Barksdale AFB in LA, he started his journey to extend his military heritage from 1940 when his grandfather enlisted in the Army Air Corps, his father with the Navy and his service in the Navy and Army. 70 continuous years of military service and his passing completes our family's dedication. SSG Stets is survived by his parents Mark and Nancy Stets, wife Nina, and daughters Jessica, December and Rachael.
