Certification Overview
Awareness "Certification" Coming May 2021
During the month of May and coinciding with the United States Navy's Gold Star Awareness Month, the Gold Star Mothers of Virginia will be overseeing a "Gold Star Awareness Certification" program. It will be easy to participate, take only a few minutes to complete, and demonstrate that you understand the background of the Gold Star community.
The Awareness Challenge will encompass 4 simple steps:
- Watch a short video on the history of Gold Star
- Answer a few simple questions to demonstrate your knowledge
- Automatically get awarded your digital "I'm Gold Star Aware Certificate"
- Automatically go into our drawing for fun and meaningful prizes
