Profile

When Sean joined the Navy he did so he could fight for our freedoms and see the world. At Boot Camp when the new recruits lined up the Sargeant stopped by Sean and asked him why he was smiling. He said that he was glad to be there. He never took that smile off. He first served in Crete as a MA for two years, then 3 years with MSron-7 as a level 2 Coxswain and crosstrained as a medic. This was part of the anti- terrorist mobile group. He received a lot of jungle and water survival training. He came back to train as a MWD handler. He was station at Kitsap Naval Base. He then was sent to Huma Proving Grounds for training before sent to Afghanistan. He was sent to FOB Masum Ghar. On the mission Kesh Mesh Khana, he was killed in a battle at Panjawai, Afghanistan on May 30, 2012. Our son joined the Navy in 2006. He was buried in Arlington, Va. where both of his Grandfathers and Grandmothers were laid to rest. Soul2Soul, Now and Forever
