Profile

Birth: Feb. 28, 1984, Germany Death: Jul. 22, 2006, Iraq Cpl. Adam J. Fargo of Ruckersville, Virginia was a standout on the William Monroe High School soccer team. He joined the Army on Dec. 30, 2004, after deciding against college and working at local pizza joints. He decided he wanted to make something of himself. He had already taken the steps and talked to recruiters. He knew it would be a hard life, but it was a good life. Known to most as Doc. Fargo for his medical skills, he also volunteered with one of the best engineering units assisting in detonating IED (Improvised Explosive Devises, also known as roadside bombs) and often volunteered to drive during their most extreme missions. Most importantly Cpl. Fargo was awarded the Combat Medical Badge for his bravery in assisting two fellow soldiers simultaneously under combat.
