- Tyler J. ``Tex'' Connely, 21, of Glastonbury, died Tuesday, (January 15, 2002) in an accident in Alaska, while on duty with the Shore Patrol on Base. Born in Billings, MT, he lived in Glastonbury most of his life. He was a graduate of Glastonbury High School, Class of 1998, after which he joined the Navy, becoming a Seal and later a Shore Patrol member. He is survived by his father, Thomas J. Connely of Texas; his mother, Kathryn (Kennedy) Cross of Glastonbury; his two brothers and two sisters, Jason D. Cross of Glastonbury, Taven Connely of Texas, Emily F. Cross of Glastonbury, and Tammy Connely of Texas;
