- Birth: Oct. 16, 1981 Hampton Hampton City Virginia, USA Death: Jan. 10, 2012 Parwan Parvan, Afghanistan Pfc. Michael W. Pyron, 30, of Hopewell, Va., died Jan. 10 in Parwan province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 25th Signal Battalion, 160th Signal Brigade, 335th Signal Command Theater, East Point, Ga. Michael lost his life while serving in the US Army in Afghanistan. He was the son of Herbert Pyron Jr. and Cheryl Griggs Coluccio. He was a loving husband, father and son. Michael was also a Facebook moderator for the group "Sexually deprived for your freedom". Michael is survived by his wife, Monika Stienen Pyron of Chester; sons, Mason W. Pyron and Matthew A. Stienen of Chester; mother, Cheryl G. Coluccio and husband Frank of Colonial Heights; father, Herbert Pyron Jr. and wife Janet of Florida;
