He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C. Jacob is survived by his parents, James and Janice (Wiant) Tate of Columbus; wife, Amy (Grant) Tate; son, Jax Allen Tate; sister, Jamie (Justin) Perkins; brothers, Jonathan (Margie) Tate and Joshua (Laura) Hermiz; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and many friends.
