Army Chief Warrant Officer Manuel was assigned to the 571 Medical Company (Air Ambulance), Fort Carson, Colorado. He was from Green Cove Springs, Florida. Son of a Navy man and grandson of a World War II pilot (also buried at Arlington National Cemetery) Recipient of the Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart.
