Profile

Birth: Aug 15,1966 Bangor, ME Lt Col Christopher E. Round died shortly after he returned home from deployment to Qatar. At the time of his death Chris was an Electronic Warfare Officer, Tactical Coordinator on the RC135 with more than 2,500 flying hours, and over 1,300 hours of combat and combat support time, and recipient of the Air Medal. Chris was a kind, caring, thoughtful person with an acute intellect and keen sense of humor. He loved the outdoors, whether it was kayaking in Virginia, sailing on Sebago Lake, ME, or just going for a bike ride. He always had the dream of hiking the Appalachian Trial when he retired. It was his love of the outdoors that brought him together with his wife, Dorothy, and together they adopted their son, Craig, who Chris said was the most amazing gift in his life.
